Serving The Northern
Beaches For 32 Years

Pittwater Life launched in August 1991 proclaiming itself ‘A New Voice For Pittwater’; back then it was a humble 16-page offering, printed on uncoated paper in black and white with touches of red ink. But it knew its role and purpose, and it took off – and was embraced – with gusto.

The first edition of 10,000 copies included items of important local news, including speculation on who would be the fledgling Pittwater Council’s first councilors.

Within a year, distribution expanded from the early Avalon-Palm Beach area into the whole of Pittwater.

Pittwater Life went full-colour in 1997 and evolved into an 80-plus-pages plus offering, renowned for its striking covers which featured local landmarks and scenes.

Today, the magazine continues to champion and celebrate the local Pittwater area and its residents – with all of its editorial content drilled down to a hyper-local focus.
